In September of 1963 Charles Lovell began offering the very best in family-oriented games for West Texas families, refinishing pool tables in his garage. Soon, the business grew and he opened his store, Lovell Co.
Raising his own children in Lubbock, Charles was proud to offer families the same joy that pool and family-oriented games had brought his own family throughout the years. A superior craftsman, Charles quickly became well-known throughout the area for his dedication to detail and customer satisfaction.
Throughout the years, the business survived a fire and three location moves. Today, Lovell Company Billiards and Barstools offers West Texas' largest selection of pool tables and billiards. Over the years, Charles and his family expanded the company’s offerings to include furniture and other family sports, Texas Tech items, Texas Tech merchandise, billiard, and game room decor, and game room furniture, other gameroom favorites and new tech games. Lovell Company's wonderful selection of fine-quality furniture items complement game room, kitchen or other living areas. The wood furniture available includes elegant barstools, fine chairs and tables in oak, maple, cherry, pine or whitewash. Contemporary metal furniture is also available, in such attractive styles as brass and chrome.
